About Me

I am a wife, mom, writer, crafter, and above all, a Child of God.

My favorite things are Jesus, scripture, family, coffee, crafts, and cows, probably in that order, too! When I am not studying the Bible or hanging with my family I am reading books, crocheting, writing, crafting and designing, or playing Elder Scrolls Online and Minecraft with my Christian gaming community, Morning Brew.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others.

Philippians 2:3-4 CSB

I absolutely love to study the Bible and spend a heck of a lot of time doing so. I love to spend time with God in prayer and His Word and grow in my faith and relationship with Him every day. I strive to put the Lord first in my life at all times and am always learning how to become more like Christ in my life.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

Colossians 3:16 CSB

One of my biggest passions is to share what I learn with others. What God reveals to us is not merely for our own sake. Everything is a gift that is meant to be used to edify and build up the Body of Christ.

11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 CSB

We are all on a journey to learn more about God, and WOTL exists to edify, build up, and fellowship with Christians who want to live better for the Lord. Let’s grow stronger in our faith and relationship with Him, together and individually!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction,[a] so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 CSB

To Bible studies, Christian fellowship, and providing Bible study tools and resources that encourage Christians in their walk with Jesus.

To share the truth of the gospel across the world in order to help quench the thirst of souls and lives.

To share and uphold Biblical truth, encourage spiritual growth, and build stronger, personal relationships with God through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Psalm 46:10 ESV

We offer several Bible study tools to help Christians in their faith and relationship with Jesus. Some of these resources include:

We are growing all the time and focuses on building one another up as a body of believers in Jesus Christ. We gather virtually on a regular basis for prayer, Bible study, gaming, and overall Christian fellowship and doing life together. We offer the following groups that we would love to invite you to:

40 But everything is to be done decently and in order.

1 Corinthians 14:40 CSB

Believe, stand firm in, and share the gospel of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

In all you do, keep your language and attitude clean, and be honoring and glorifying unto God

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Deuteronomy 6:5

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Ephesians 4:29

Be a Christ-like example throughout our communities & hold one another accountable

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

God

There is only one God who is eternal, existing in three equally divine Persons (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). God is all-powerful, our provider, comforter, and Creator of all things. He is all-knowing and without fault.

(Genesis 1:1John 1:11 Corinthians 8:62 Corinthians 13:14Isaiah 44:6Matthew 5:48Psalm 18:10)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, fully man, and fully God, and is completely sinless. He died as the sacrifice for our sins, was resurrected from the dead, and ascended back into Heaven. Through these great works, the blood of Jesus provided the only way of salvation for mankind.

(John 3:16Romans 5:8-10Colossians 1:13-23John 1:14-162 Corinthians 5:211 Peter 2: 21-25Matthew 24:30)

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. Through the Holy Spirit, we become aware of our need for Jesus Christ, and once we accept His salvation the Holy Spirit works within us, bringing us to repent and be transformed. The Holy Spirit equips and guides us to grow, learn, and become more like Christ.

(Acts 1:8, Romans 5:52 Corinthians 3:17John 16:7-13Galatians 5:16-151 Corinthians 12:1-31)

The Bible

The Bible is God’s written revelation to man, having been divinely inspired by God to be written by human hands. Scripture, being the infallible Word of God, is authoritative on how Christians are to live their lives, and presents an accurate account of the history of creation and mankind. Christians are called to follow the teachings of scripture and believe what it says.

(1 Thessalonians 2:13Hebrews 4:122 Timothy 3:14-17Matthew 5:17-19Psalm 19:7-11)

Mankind

People are equally made in the image of God and are given equal access to God through faith in Jesus Christ. All people are sinful and in need of our salvation that is only found in Jesus, and all people are offered this free gift of salvation by the grace of God.

(Genesis 1:27Psalm 8:3-6Isaiah 53:6aRomans 3:23Isaiah 59:1-2)

Salvation

Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but each person is responsible for their choice of accepting it or rejecting it. We can never earn salvation, nor can we make up for our sin on our own. We all need salvation which is only available through accepting and trusting Jesus Christ as your Saviour and being forgiven of your sins by the grace of God.

(Romans 6:23Ephesians 2:8-9John 14:6John 1:12Titus 3:5)
